Hello, I'm
Biomedical Engineering Masters Graduate (TCD)
I am interested in robotics, AI and technology and how they intersect with medicine and art.

I recently completed my Master's in Biomedical Engineering at Trinity College Dublin and am working part-time as a fullstack software engineer over the summer. I'm passionate about bridging engineering and design to improve people's lives and make healthcare more human-centred.
For my thesis, I developed a robotic haptic rig that applies textures to the hand to measure neural responses without muscle movement, deepening understanding of sensory pathways and potential rehabilitation applications.
Beyond engineering, I'm deeply drawn to art and creativity — I love drawing, collaging, and experimenting with animation, and I find inspiration in visiting galleries and reading about design, culture, and human experience.
Projects exploring AI, robotics, and their intersection with biomedical engineering.

Built a MATLAB tool for researchers at DESY, enabling real-time analysis of liquid flat-jet properties during x-ray femtochemistry experiments.

Led the State Estimation team developing localisation and mapping algorithms for Ireland's first autonomous Formula Student race car.

My professional journey and creative collaborations.
Freelance
Present
Building web applications and digital solutions for clients, combining frontend and backend development with modern frameworks and tools.

Co-organising Dublin's meetup for builders and technical founders, funded by Patch. An evening of pizza, drinks, and 7-minute demos where engineers share side projects, technical experiments, and collaborate on ambitious ideas.

DESY
Jul 2025 – Sep 2025 · Hamburg, Germany
Developed a MATLAB-based GUI for researchers conducting x-ray femtochemistry experiments at Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), Germany's world-leading centre for particle acceleration and photon science.

FIRE1
Jan 2025 – Jul 2025 · Dublin, Ireland
Contributed to R&D at FIRE1, a medtech startup that recently closed a $120 million financing round to scale its next-generation heart-failure management platform, the Norm system. Performed data analysis using Python, Plotly, and Dash, created SOLIDWORKS models, and conducted 3D printing and DV testing.

Kilbarrack Dental Care
Sep 2018 – Jan 2025 · Dublin, Ireland
Managed patient scheduling and insurance claims using EXACT dental software. Handled patient communications, billing, and daily clinic coordination.

Formula Trinity Autonomous
Aug 2022 – Aug 2024 · Dublin, Ireland
Led the State Estimation team for Formula Trinity Autonomous, an award-winning student engineering team from Trinity College Dublin and the first Irish team to compete in Formula Student Autonomous (FSAI), a global competition where universities design, build, and race fully self-driving cars.

EY
Jun 2023 – Jul 2023 · Dublin, Ireland
Supported a large-scale server migration project, assisting with system testing and data verification. Gained experience in project coordination and enterprise software systems.
Recognition, awards, and notable milestones in my journey.

Selected for the EuroTech fellowship programme, connecting leading technical universities across Europe.

Selected as one of twelve Irish innovators for an immersive Bay Area experience, meeting industry leaders including Sarah Friar (OpenAI) and Patrick Collison (Stripe), touring startups, and attending robotics events.

Scholarship awarded for achievement in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths).

Awarded for achieving the highest points among Trinity entrants from my secondary school.
